INSTALL THE PRINTER & MODEM IN LINUX

PRINTER INSTALLATION :-

Through command line :- During startup it will find the printer automatically then configure it by the following command                             

       

 # printconf –t

Now select the new in the dialogue box give the printer name then select next again next select the printer from the list.

Through GUI mode :- click on run then print tools then click on new .now follow the instructions and select the printer from the list. When the printer is installed it will give the test page.

 

MODEM INSTALLATION :-

     Click on run in the GUI mode then KPPP then click setup. It will install the modem from the list .To communicate  with modem click on query modem.

Create  the new account for internet from the accounts tab.
